Hurricane Milton
All Pinellas County parks and preserves will be closed to the public beginning Monday, Oct. 7, in preparation for the potential impacts of Hurricane Milton.

Philippe Park is 92 rich-in-history acres. This is the oldest park in Pinellas County and is located in Safety Harbor. The majestic shade trees and the Native American mound welcome visitors to the park. The Temple Mound was built by Native Americans known as the Tocobaga. It is the largest remaining mound in the Tampa Bay region and is listed in the National Register of Historic Landmarks.
Philippe Park Improvements
Beginning August 19, 2024, weekday access to the Philippe Park boat ramp and trailer parking lot may be limited. For more information, please visit pinellas.gov/projects/philippe-park-improvements.
